gofundme update: Adventure CPAP
Hi everyone! I’ve been away for a week (still trying to convince Coby to write one of these updates—fingers crossed 🤞). In my absence, James and Coby teamed up for the nighttime CPAP challenge, aiming for a minimum of 4 hours a night. It’s definitely a different ballgame when you mix sleep apnea with Lewy (LBD) tagging along, but they gave it their best shot!
The first two nights without me were surprisingly smooth (woohoo!), but then... let’s just say the wheels came off the CPAP train. Now that I’m back, we’re in full "no slacking" mode.
Why? Well, the insurance deadline is looming: we need to show consistent CPAP use by 12/24 to keep them on board. The good news? If my math checks out (and trust me, I’ve triple-checked), we’ll hit our proof goal by 12/23—phew!
On a brighter note, I came back from my trip with a treasure trove of photos and videos of our 14-month-old granddaughter, Mabel. She’s truly our little ray of sunshine on cloudy days, the feather that lightens the load, and yes, the butter to our toast 🥰.
Every time James sees a picture of her, his face lights up like it’s Christmas morning. On tough nights, when we’re bracing ourselves for the CPAP battle, we scroll through Mabel’s adorable photos—it’s like a magic reset button for our spirits.
Thanks for your continued support, kindness, and encouragement. We’ll keep you updated as we close in on that 12/24 milestone!
With gratitude and Mabel-powered smiles,
James and Margit
