Two undesirable persons. January 30th 2020

Bye bye South Africa...

We really only overstayed 6 days, but I wasn’t about to argue with the immigration officer, who put down 8 days and declared us undesirable.

He paused for a long time before he volunteered that we are only unwelcome for 12 month. Phew...
it could have been 5 years, but we are riding the opposite direction anyways, so, no big deal.
Botswana, here we come!

First encounter

At the Backpackers where everybody is welcome.

Here we are legal again..got new money in my pocket and the roads are flat and hot.
Options...maybe heading a little west to Victoria Falls, maybe riding straight north into Zimbabwe 🇿🇼.
A brand spanking new country. Always exciting!
Traveling is the most intense way of learning.
Our first night at the backpackers - second one at a lovely WarmShower -host - couple.
We still speak English, we still ride on the wrong side of the road and I took a yoga class this morning. So, actually not that much different for now.
But I can’t help feeling the buzzzzz...
