A new continent - CapeTown, South Africa

Arriving South Africa on the 22nd of October 2019

Smooth sailing...or better flying

From one continent to another, from one city to another (São  Paulo, Brazil - Cape Town, South Africa)
From one language to another few languages. But at least english is well understood/spoken and we can take a break from communication challenges.
Though, hold your breath, now we gotta ride on the other side of the road. In spite of all the smoothness of our trip across the Atlantic, we still felt quite frazzled for multiple reasons (one of which was that the outskirts of Cape Town are in poor condition which partly translates into Gang war activities prior and during the time of our arrival) and decided to take the bus into town instead of riding the short distance of 17km.
CapeTown, what can I say? Not the end of the world, but the beginning of our tour through this amazing continent - starting here and riding north....which way to go? Either way will be anything than what we know - a whole “new” world where the human species originated.
Home in the true sense!
